California High School Softball - Los Alamitos bounces Downey
March 12, 2022: Downey, CA 90241 The Los Alamitos Griffins routed the host Downey Vikings softball squad by a final score of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Griffins (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Redlands East Valley nudged Barstow (Barstow, CA), 9-4, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Sunny Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 17. Downey will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 24-2 non-league loss to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.
