Texas High School Baseball - Big Spring can't hold off Trinity Christian
March 12, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79413 The Trinity Christian Lions baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Big Spring Steers to 8 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Grace Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS Division III District 1 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Grace Prep was nudged by Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX), 4-3, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Big Spring falls to 9-16 on the season. The Steers travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.
