Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello tipped by Jefferson Forest
March 12, 2024: Charlottesville, VA 22902 In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13. Jefferson Forest will face a Bishops squad coming off a 19-8 non-league win over Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 14. Monticello will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, VA).
