March 12, 2024: Cordele, GA 31015 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) and the visiting Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA), saw Crisp County's soccer squad triumph over Carver by a margin of 9-0.
The Cougars now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus for a 3A Region 1 test on Friday, March 15. Crisp County will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Carver drops to 0-7 on the season. The Tigers host Monroe (Albany, GA) to encounter the Golden Tornadoes in a 3A Region 1 test on Thursday, March 14. The Golden Tornadoes come into the test with a record of 1-10. Monroe won 4-3 in their recent league test against Dougherty (Albany, GA)
