North Carolina High School Softball - Central Davidson bounces Southern Alamance
March 12, 2024: Graham, NC 27253 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) and the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), saw Central Davidson's softball squad nip Southern Alamance by a count of 17-11.
The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Forsyth for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 13. Central Davidson will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Southern Alamance falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Monday, March 18. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 3-0. Oak Grove won 5-2 in their recent non-league match against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
