In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Basha Bears baseball team scored a close 6-0 win over the Higley Knights.

The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Queen Creek nudged La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 8-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Knights play the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 15. Higley will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 9-0 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
