The Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) baseball trounced the host Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), 14-7 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Green Valley for a 5A South - Mountain challenge on Friday, March 14. Liberty will clash with a Gators team coming off a 10-8 league win over Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Gators record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Silverado drops to 7-4 on the year. The Skyhawks host Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Red-Tailed Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Cheyenne Mountain won 17-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Durango (Las Vegas, NV)
