March 12, 2025: Rome, GA 30165 Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Coosa moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 1A D-I Region 7 test on Friday, March 14. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 3-2. Fannin County won 6-1 in their recent league test against Chattooga (Summerville, GA)
The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas County for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Mt. Zion will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
