In Wednesday's non-league test, the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) softball squad got by the visiting Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A test, on Friday, March 14. Northern Guilford will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Forsyth Home Educators held off Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 18-10, in a non-league test.
