The South Lafourche Tarpons triumphed over the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.

The Tarpons (1-11) will now prepare for their match against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs come into the 4A District 7 match with a 10-2 record.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 13. L.W. Higgins will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA).
