The Las Lomas Knights softball squad (Walnut Creek, CA), 7-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA)

With the triumph, Benicia improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 17. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Rodriguez won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against American Canyon (American Canyon, CA)

The Knights now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 17. Las Lomas will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.
