Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 9-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hernando upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Southaven (Southaven, MS) to play the Chargers in a 7A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, March 17. The Chargers come into the battle with a record of 1-9. Southaven lost 17-3 in their recent non-league battle against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
