Arizona High School Softball - Madera bounces Mingus

March 12, 2026: Cottonwood, AZ 86326

Spectators at Thursday's non-league contest between the Madera Coyotes (Madera, CA) and the host Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), saw Madera's softball squad notch a victory over Mingus by a final score of 15-0.

The Coyotes (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Chaparral gained a win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ), 8-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Marauders battle the Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon match, on Tuesday, March 17. Mingus will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 3-0 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ).
