Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) and the visiting Section Lions (Section, AL), saw New Hope's baseball squad knock off Section by a count of 13-10.

Coming up next, the Indians play the North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) in a 4A Area 14 battle, on Tuesday, March 16. New Hope will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 11-6 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, AL).
