The West Wilkes Blackhawks baseball team (Millers Creek, NC), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC)

The Rams now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forbush for a non-league outing on Monday, March 20. Starmount will confront a Falcons team coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.
