Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 12-3 in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Charlotte Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 20. Lake Norman will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-0.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 16. Northwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 18-1 league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
