Louisiana High School Softball - St. Michael gets by Riverdale
March 13, 2024: Jefferson, LA 70121 The St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) softball nipped the host Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA), 11-10 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Episcopal was edged by Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a 4A District 9 bout on Thursday, March 14. Riverdale will confront a Swamp Owls squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 5-4.
