California High School Softball - Santa Margarita bounces Woodbridge
March 13, 2024: Irvine, CA 92604 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) and the host Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), saw Santa Margarita's softball squad nip Woodbridge by a count of 10-4.
The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league match on Thursday, March 14. Santa Margarita will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 15-5 league win over University (Irvine, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Woodbridge falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Beckman (Irvine, CA) to face the Patriots in a Pacific Coast match on Saturday, March 16. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 7-4. Beckman lost 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
