The Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL) baseball got by the host Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cocoa Beach for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. Baker County will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 6-5 league win over Melbourne Central Catholic (Melbourne, FL). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-6.

With the defeat, Ponte Vedra drops to 5-6 on the year. The Sharks travel to Orange Park (Orange Park, FL) to clash with the Raiders in a 5A District 4 challenge on Monday, March 17.
