The Buford Yellow Jackets baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Piedmont Panthers to 2 in the Yellow Jackets non-league win on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to York Prep for a test on Friday, March 14.

With the defeat, Piedmont drops to 0-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to play the Wolf Pack in a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Wolf Pack go into the test with a record of 1-7. Parkwood lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Weddington (Matthews, NC)
