March 13, 2025: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 The Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 12-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. Rio Rancho will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 5-5 non-league Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Carlsbad drops to 5-3 on the year. The Cavemen/cavegirls travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Artesia lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
