The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) and the host Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ), saw Valley Christian's baseball team get by Perry by a tally of 11-10.

The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Globe (Globe, AZ). The Tigers enter the 3A Central battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Globe held off Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
