Alaska High School Basketball - Shaktoolik holds off Minto
March 13, 2025: Shaktoolik, AK 99771 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Shaktoolik Wolverines basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Minto Lakers.
The Wolverines (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Manokotak (Manokotak, AK). The Lynx go into the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Manokotak nipped Tri-Valley (Healy, AK), 75-68, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers confront the Tri-Valley Warriors (Healy, AK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 14. Minto will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 17-7 record after their 57-41 non-league win over Chief Paul Memorial (Kipnuk, AK).
