California High School Volleyball - Liberty overwhelmed by Sunnyside
March 13, 2025: Fresno, CA 93727 Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sunnyside improves its record to 12-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA) to face the Rough Riders in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Rough Riders go into the test with a record of 3-8. Roosevelt lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Reedley (Reedley, CA)
The Hawks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wonderful College Prep Academy for a test on Thursday, March 20. Liberty will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
