California High School Volleyball - San Marcos over Rio Mesa
March 13, 2025: Oxnard, CA 93036 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) and the host Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA), observed San Marcos's volleyball team top Rio Mesa by a count of 3-0.
The Royals (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Dons enter the Channel contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Santa Barbara defeated St. Francis (La Canada, CA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Rio Mesa drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Pacifica (Oxnard, CA) to clash with the Tritons in a Channel bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Tritons come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Pacifica lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Buena (Ventura, CA)
