Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars (Tampa, FL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Riverview Sarasota Rams (Sarasota, FL), 16-9 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Academy of the Holy Names improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Jaguars host IMG Academy Blue (Bradenton, FL) to play the Ascenders in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Ascenders come into the game with a record of 2-2.

The Rams now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Community School of Naples for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Riverview Sarasota will play a Seahawks team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Newsome (Lithia, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 8-3.
