South Carolina High School Lacrosse - Carolina Forest overwhelms South Brunswick

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Carolina Forest Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-6 win over the South Brunswick Cougars.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Chiefs enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, North Myrtle Beach was overwhelmed by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 11-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Tuesday, March 18. South Brunswick will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 24-9 non-league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
