Tennessee High School Soccer - Wayne County nudges Waverly Central
March 13, 2025: Waverly, TN 37185 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN) and the host Waverly Central Tigers (Waverly, TN), saw Wayne County's soccer squad hold off Waverly Central by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Culleoka (Culleoka, TN). The Warriors enter the A District 10 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Culleoka was edged by Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the East Robertson Indians (Cross Plains, TN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Waverly Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to McEwen (McEwen, TN).
