March 13, 2025: Cove, AR 71937 The Mena Bearcats triumphed over the host Cossatot River Eagles softball squad by a count of 24-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bearcats meet the Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR) in a 4A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Mena will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Elkins (Elkins, AR).
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Golden Arrows enter the 3A Region 4 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Lavaca was routed by Hackett (Hackett, AR), 7-3, in a non-league match.
