The Cayuga Wildcats baseball squad (Cayuga, TX), 9-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Leon Cougars (Jewett, TX)

With the triumph, Leon moves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Normangee (Normangee, TX) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, March 17. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 7-1. Normangee won 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Vanguard College Prep (Waco, TX)

Next, the Wildcats face the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 battle, on Monday, March 16. Cayuga will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Oglesby (Oglesby, TX).
