Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX), 21-19 in a non-league match.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Crosbyton for a 2A Region I District 3 test on Monday, March 16. Olton will play a Chiefs team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Plains moves to 3-2 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Petersburg (Petersburg, TX) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league outing on Monday, March 23. The Buffaloes go into the test with a record of 0-2.
