The Alto Yellowjackets softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Centerville Bulldogs to 0 in the Yellowjackets league win on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cushing for a 2A Region III District 22 battle on Tuesday, March 17. Alto will confront a Bearkats team coming off a 12-2 league win over Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Centerville drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Neches (Neches, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, March 17.
