The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) and the host Murray Spartans (Murray, UT), observed Bingham's softball team prevail over Murray by a score of 17-1.

With the triumph, Bingham improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Miners travel to Uintah (Vernal, UT) to face the Utes in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 14. The Utes go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Uintah won 13-2 in their recent non-league bout against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 14. Murray will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Salem Hills (Salem, UT).
