Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northgate improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Broncos host Carondelet (Concord, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 17. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 4-1. Carondelet lost 7-3 in their recent non-league match against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

In their next game, the Gaels confront the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) in a East Bay match, on Tuesday, March 17. Dublin will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Matadors come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Tracy (Tracy, CA).
