The Edison Vikings softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Venture Academy Mustangs to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stagg for a San Joaquin Athletic Association battle on Tuesday, March 17. Edison will confront a Delta Kings team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Venture Academy (Stockton, CA). The Delta Kings record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Venture Academy moves to 3-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Humphreys Able Charter (Stockton, CA) to confront the Legacy in a non-league battle on Monday, March 23. The Legacy come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
