Louisiana High School Baseball - Church Point nips Kaplan
March 14, 2022: Kaplan, LA 70548 Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Church Point upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bears host Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 7-1. Lewisburg won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Southaven (Southaven, MS)
With the defeat, Kaplan falls to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Comeaux (Lafayette, LA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 14-0.
