Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), 12-9 in a non-league battle.

The Monarchs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Valhalla for a Grossmont battle on Thursday, March 17. Monte Vista will clash with a Norsemen squad coming off a 7-2 league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 5-1.

In their next game, the Rattlers clash with the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 16. Canyon Hills will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA).
