Texas High School Softball - Rains bounces Rusk
March 14, 2022: Rusk, TX 75785 The Rains Wildcats routed the host Rusk Eagles softball squad by a final score of 12-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 3A Region II District 12 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Lone Oak was routed by Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX), 8-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 15. Rusk will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 4-4 non-league Alvarado (Alvarado, TX).
