March 14, 2023: Lexington, SC 29073 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) and the host Providence Panthers (Lexington, SC), saw Chapin's soccer squad triumph over Providence by a count of 6-0.
The Eagles now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Dutch Fork for a AAAAA Region 4 test on Friday, March 17. Chapin will meet a Silver Foxes squad coming off a 2-1 league win over White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Silver Foxes record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Providence drops to 2-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC) to meet the Sabres in a non-league test on Friday, March 17. The Sabres come into the test with a record of 4-4. Southside Christian won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)
