North Carolina High School Soccer - Gaston Christian knocks off Corvian Community
March 14, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269 Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 17. Gaston Christian will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record.
The Cardinals now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mallard Creek for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. Corvian Community will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-1.
