March 14, 2023: Elkmont, AL 35620 Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL), 3-1 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Elkmont moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Tanner (Tanner, AL) to battle the Rattlers in a 1A-3A Region 8 bout on Friday, March 17. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Tanner won 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL)
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. Muscle Shoals will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, AL).
