March 14, 2023: Lone Oak, TX 75453 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) and the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), saw Como-Pickton's softball squad nip Lone Oak by a count of 4-0.
The Eagles now sport a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they host Yantis for a 1A Region III District 17 match on Thursday, March 16.
With the loss, Lone Oak falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX) to face the Indians in a 3A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, March 21. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 14-9. Grand Saline lost 5-3 in their recent league battle against Chisum (Paris, TX)
