Alabama High School Softball - Winfield bounces Fayette County
March 14, 2023: Fayette, AL 35555 Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lamar for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. Winfield will battle a Stallions squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Fayette County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oakman (Oakman, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Area 10 challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
