Louisiana High School Softball - Franklinton bounces Salmen
March 14, 2023: Slidell, LA 70451 Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 18-1 in a league challenge.
The Demons now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Scholastica for a 4A District 8 challenge on Wednesday, March 15. Franklinton will face a Doves squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Doves record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Salmen falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Livingston Collegiate Academy lost 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA)
