With the win, DeQuincy upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Tigers host Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 2A District 5 test on Thursday, March 14. The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Elizabeth ran past Starks (Starks, LA), 19-2, in a non-league match.
