In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Hidalgo Pirates baseball squad scored a good 15-5 triumph over the Lyford Bulldogs.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Raymondville Bearkats (Raymondville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Hidalgo will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record.
