The St.Ignace Saints basketball team (St. Ignace, MI), was nudged 60-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Tri-Unity Christian Defenders (Wyoming, MI)

The Defenders now possess a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 16. Tri-Unity Christian will confront a Irish team coming off a 51-33 non-league win over Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Irish record now stands at 27-2.
