In Thursday's non-league contest, the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Orioles face the Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 16. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, IN).
