March 14, 2024: Eatonton, GA 31024 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) and the visiting Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), saw Putnam County's soccer squad get by Westside by a count of 4-3.
The War Eagles now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Thomson for a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 19. Putnam County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Westside drops to 1-3 on the season. The Patriots host Butler (Augusta, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Butler lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Thomson (Thomson, GA)
