March 14, 2024: South Elgin, IL 60177 South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
The Storm now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 16. South Elgin will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 16. Grayslake North will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).
